I bought this for my dad about a month ago because he tried a water filter that attaches to the faucet head and it broke the faucet! It was so heavy that water just came spraying out everywhere. I noticed he was buying a lot of bottled water after that, so I got this for him and he is raving about it! He said he drinks more water than he used to, the spigot works great (doesn't leak), and it's super easy to refill. Great product!

This is my first PUR product and it's been a good first impression so far. I've been using Brita faucet filters for some time until I moved to my new apartment which has some faucet issues. Along with the faucet issues, the water is even worse than in the area that I previously lived in. Bad taste, occasionally cloudy, and bad smell. I was getting tired of constantly purchasing bottled water as well. After reading a few reviews here on Amazon and some additional research, I settled on getting the PUR Dispenser over the Brita. After one week of use so far I am quite satisfied with my decision. I didn't purchase it on Amazon, though Amazon led me to Target, where I picked it up locally (on sale!).

The filter works reasonably fast, I would say it fills the bottom half of the dispenser in about an hour. Note that the PUR filters are 2-Stage versus the single stage filters from Brita. The filtered water is crystal clear, has NO smell, and tastes like water should taste. I find that there are no leaks from the spout, the parts fit precisely and the size is more than manageable.

The reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is due to design. The 2 reservoirs are designed to be completely level, therefore you will have some water sitting at the very bottom of each reservoir that can't be 'dispensed' or filtered without tilting the unit. This so far hasn't become an issue.

I highly recommend this product. The quality of the filtered water itself deserves 5 stars.

I found filling a standard water pitcher so tedious that I often didn't. We've had so many faucet filters on our sink that eventually broke and now the threads are stripped.

This is a great product. The upper reservoir holds nearly 1 gallon. Once that filters through you can refill it with another gallon and you have 2 gallons of cold water on tap in the fridge. The tap on this is great, once it's off it off, hardly a drip. Even full it's easy to handle. The narrow design takes almost no fridge space.

Now I use filtered water for everything, coffee, cooking, drinks, ice... things that I never would have with a small quanity pitcher.

I read up on all the available dispensers on the market and settled on this one.
It does what it claims to do, the replacement filters are reasonably priced and
it is well constructed. After one month's use I can say that I'm very pleased with
this product.
